Tips On How to Get It In

Tips On How to Get It In

So what were you hoping to see after a headline like that?  Let me guess, you read that and thought to yourself to get it in what is He talking about?!?!  Did it make you the least bit curious and want to click and see what it really was about?  Be honest, or where you like my friend when I read this blog headline, his automatically response was, “that’s what she said”.

Well, just like everything else in life a first impression is just about everything. They said that interviews will know who they want to hire within the first 30 seconds of the interview.  And just like the old saying goes to many do judge the book by the cover.

So if you have not figure it by now this blog post I will be sharing Tips on How to get it (being more readers) in:

Shock Factor

The shock and awe approach. Words played out the right way can work like magic.  Several angles you play on this shock factor:

  • Emotions
  • Fear
  • Sexually
  • Disgruntle
  • Pun

This shock factor must be used with caution, and you will need to remember when and where it could be best used and suited for.

Oh by the way did it work for you?  The Shock factor headline?

Questions Can Attract

This is just that simple and probably the most used way of how to get it in tip there is.  It’s literally that simple by asking an engaging, interesting, or great question to really make readers think. It simply works. So try it.

Questions are an easy way to start off with, and construct the question that grabs reader’s attention and make them want to read more or make that extra client to read more.  Here’s an example of this opening at work:

Share Stories

Everyone loves a good story. Thing about all the conversations that are shared through the day.  The most connecting times are when personal, inspiring, or even humor stories are discovered.

Life is a story.  That’s how we live and share life together through stories. Shoemoney is doing it!  Why don’t you?

Compact and Concise

Short. Sweet. To the point. This may not seduce readers, but it works just as well as all the rest.  I blogger that enjoy following and believe is great example of this is Seth Godin.

Keep the main point the main focus and drive it home.  State it early and be brief in sharing that point.
