I have talked with tons and tons of people either trying to make money online, wanting to make money online, or are making money online. Yes there is a huge difference from those three types of people. I started to think the other day, and stop and asked myself this question, “I am running a blog or a business?”
This is such a great questions to be asking, and I suggest you do the same.
Do You have the Drive, Passion, or Intensity for a Successful Business?
This is a factor and a deal breaker that I am seeing with so many people. So many have this excuse factor, it could be they blame it on the economy, lack of resources, no money, etc.
It comes down to asking yourself the hard questions and it might be starting yourself, “Are you comfortable, are you okay with not any more money?”
What I am getting is do you have a true business or just another blog? Do you have a plan of action and focus that will succeed or are you settling for failure.
Let’s Call What it is My Friend
I see so many other bloggers that say that want to make money online, but when it comes down to it they don’t have intensity, focus, or true passion. They might be able to get past the first curd of hardship, but the second bump in the road and they are finished. Or better yet they jump ship and start looking for the next easy road.
I am not here to sugar coat and tell running is business is for everyone, or that it’s a piece of cake, or furthermore that with one simple plan you’re on your way to making millions!
I am going to tell you the truth, and share my experience, and my journey that I have taken so hopefully it will inspire, teach, and help you along the way.
I have heard this and I truly stand by this, the only person that will work the hardest for you is YOU!
If you don’t want to change, want to create a business, or want to keep looking for the next “new” course, ebook, strategy, and the list goes forever than no one else can talk out of it.
Asking the Right Questions
Here are some real honest questions that I would suggest to really evaluate if your seriously committed to a business or just a blog:
- Do I really understand what I do?
- Do I really understand what it want and what I need to do to get there?
- Do I really have the passion and drive to succeed through failures?
- Do I really want all the headaches that come with this business?
- Do I really know if these business challenges are internal or external sources?
This list could go on and maybe there are other questions that you need to be asking. I would suggest to side down and really work through some of these tough questions. It must start with you and you must be real with yourself as you work through these questions of am I really running a blog or a business.
If you need help processing or working through these question or the answers please let me know, I want to help you succeed!
If you have made it thus far down this post that means you are either intrigued enough or curious to read the rest of this post. All I can ask is that you will look yourself and be real enough to ask these pointed questions and only to have honest answers from within. Don’t keep faking it, or continue due to feelings or emotions, and most importantly stop making excused! Either start leading, start following, or step aside and let someone else take over a real business.
